FROM NA3HL FRASER CUP WIN TO U20 WORLD BALL HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS NAHL Jackalopes draft pick tied for third in scoring at ISBHL event after leading his 3HL team to Fraser Cup win.

Getting the chance to represent Team USA at an international ball hockey tournament is something I’m really thankful for. I played in my first tournament two years ago in the Czech Republic. We didn’t medal that time, but it was still an awesome experience. This time around, we came home with a bronze.
Wearing the USA jersey and competing for your country is something that hits different, no matter where you are or what version of hockey you’re playing. I’m proud of how our team battled and wouldn’t change a thing about how the tournament went.
Switching between ice hockey and ball hockey can be a challenge; they’re definitely different in some ways, but there’s also a lot that carries over. Playing ball hockey over the years has helped me with things like hockey IQ, vision, and stick skills. The tournament reminded me of how much I love the game; ice or ball, it’s all about passion, grit, and playing for the guys next to you.
Getting to do that on an international stage, in a USA jersey is something I’ll never forget.
Now it’s a quick turnaround as I head into Jackalopes main camp this week. It’s a fast switch going from ball hockey back to the ice, but I’m looking forward to getting back out there. It means a lot to have this opportunity, and I’m ready to see how things go with the group.
