Angelo Zol delivered a month between the pipes that set the standard across the league for the West Kelowna Warriors. The 20 year-old goaltender was nothing short of dominant, winning four of his six starts while leading all netminders in every major statistical category throughout the month.

Zol finished the stretch with a .971 save percentage, a 0.67 goals-against average, and three shutouts, consistently shutting down opposing offenses and giving the Warriors a chance to win every night. Even in the two contests that ended in losses, he allowed just three total goals, underscoring his steady presence in net.

His run of excellence began on December 10, when the Kelowna, B.C. native stopped all 25 shots he faced in a 1–0 victory over the Trail Smoke Eaters. He followed that performance with another shutout in his next start, turning aside 18 shots in a 3–0 win. Zol’s most impressive outing came on December 19 against the Vernon Vipers, where he was flawless once again, making 38 saves on 38 shots in a commanding 3–0 victory.

The month only added to an already stellar season for Zol. He currently leads the BCHL with a .939 save percentage, a 1.49 goals-against average, and four shutouts, establishing himself as one of the league’s most reliable and impactful goaltenders.

With consistency, composure, and elite level results, Angelo Zol’s performance made him a clear and deserving choice for Player of the Month.
