The University of North Dakota commit and Tampa Bay Lightning prospect was sharp in both outings, providing consistency and confidence as Madison completed a two game sweep of the Omaha Lancers.

Heil opened the weekend with a strong performance on Friday night, stopping 35 of 37 shots in a 5–2 win. From the opening puck drop, he showed calm positioning and strong rebound control, turning aside quality chances and limiting second opportunities. As Omaha pushed to generate offense, Heil remained composed, making timely saves to keep the Capitols firmly in control of the game.

He followed that effort with another solid showing on Saturday, turning aside 27 of 29 shots in a 6–2 victory that sealed the weekend sweep. Once again, Heil was at his best when tested, shutting down stretches of sustained pressure and allowing Madison to build momentum offensively.
