NAHL Forward Earns HockeyWolf Player of the Week for September 17th

Albuquerque, NM – The New Mexico Ice Wolves’ veteran forward Andy Earl has been named the HockeyWolf Player of the Week following a standout three-game performance that lit up the scoreboard.

The Minnesota-born skater, now in his third season with the Ice Wolves, delivered a clinic in offensive consistency and clutch play. Earl kicked off the weekend with a lone goal in Friday’s tight loss to the Amarillo Wranglers, then exploded on Saturday night with a goal and two assists to lead his squad to a 4–2 win. He capped off the weekend with a slick helper on Anton Malyshev’s game-winner Sunday afternoon, securing his place atop the league’s scoring chart.

The 6’0 forward finished the weekend with five points—two goals and three assists—across three games, the highest total in the NAHL during that stretch. Earl’s blend of speed, vision, and veteran poise continues to be a driving force for the Ice Wolves as they push deeper into the season.
