WARRIORS ADD DEFENSEMAN BEN CRAFT Warriors Sign Ben Craft

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Oklahoma City Warriors, proud members of the NA3HL, announced Monday the signing of defenseman Ben Craft for the 2026-27 season. 

Craft, 19, spent last season with the USPHL Elite’s Atlanta Mad Hatters, adding both size and junior experience to the Warriors' defensive core. 

“We’re excited to add Ben Craft to our defensive group,” Assistant Coach Artem Lantukh said. “Ben is a strong, reliable defenseman who plays with good awareness and competes hard in all areas of the ice. We’re looking forward to helping him continue to develop and seeing what he can bring to our blue line this season.”

The 6-foot-3 defenseman logged one goal and 11 assists in 43 appearances with the Mad Hatters last season, earning Atlantic Division Defenseman of the Week honors the week of Feb. 9-15, 2026. 

Before embarking on his junior career, the Mesa, Arizona native split the 2024-25 season with Arizona Hockey Union 18U AA and Campo Verde High 1. In 47 games of 18U, the blueliner logged four goals and three assists, adding two goals and four assists in 19 high school games to his season totals. 

Craft joins King McDougall, London McDougall, Collin Springer, Fox Dial, Tyler Miller, Keeghan Middleton, Luke Jordan and Sean Biebrich as announced signings for the 2026-27 season. Stay tuned for more signings as the offseason progresses!

 The Warriors begin the season at home on Friday, Sept. 11, taking on the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Puck drop from Blazers Ice Centre is set for 7 p.m. CST.
