RIVARD DEALT TO BISMARCK IN FUTURES DEAL Oklahoma Warriors Forward Traded to Bismark Bobcats.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Oklahoma Warriors, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announced Friday that forward Ryder Rivard has been traded to the Bismarck Bobcats in exchange for future considerations. 

Rivard, 17, split last season between Team North Dakota and Grand Forks Central High before joining the Warriors late in the season. 

“Rivard is a great young man and player,” Head Coach Eric Ballard said. “We wish Ryder nothing but continued success this season. To see Ryder stay in the league is an important thing for us, as a league, to help facilitate our athletes best interests with a great coach and organization closer to his hometown. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior. Best of luck, Ryder!” 

The 6-foot-1 forward logged five goals and two assists in six games with Team North Dakota, adding 22 goals and 18 assists in 27 games to his season totals with Grand Forks Central before making nine appearances with the Warriors. 

In the 2024-25 season, the Grand Forks, North Dakota native split time between Grand Forks Central and Team North Dakota 16U AAA. In 27 games with Grand Forks Central, Rivard logged 13 goals and 20 assists, adding nine goals and seven assists to his season totals with Team North Dakota. 

The Warriors begin the 2026-27 campaign at home on Friday, Sept. 18 against the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Puck drop from Blazers Ice Centre is set for 7 p.m. CST.
