Colin Sharp brings a bit of all of that work ethic, physicality, and a commitment to getting better every single season. And this year, his growth is showing in a big way.
A Season of Hard Work and Big Improvement
Last season, Colin suited up for the Tulsa Jr. Oilers in Oklahoma. It was a year of learning, battling, and gaining experience at the junior level. In 27 games, he recorded 5 points and racked up 96 penalty minutes, embracing the physical side of the game.
This year, he’s taken his game to McCall, Idaho, where he’s thriving with the McCall Smokejumpers.
"Last season I played in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Tulsa Jr. Oilers. I had a total of 5 points and 96 penalty minutes in 27 games. This year I’m playing in McCall, Idaho for the McCall Smokejumpers and have 17 points in 16 games."

What Sets Him Apart

"I’d say what sets me apart is my work ethic and my want to be the best on the ice."
It’s that inner push, that competitiveness, that allows him to take big steps forward year after year.
Motivated On and Off the Ice
In the classroom, Colin brought the same focus he brings on the ice. He finished high school with a strong academic record and already has a clear plan for what he wants to study in college.
"In highschool I had a 3.4 GPA on a 4.0 grading system. I’m wanting to pursue Criminal Justice."
And when he looks ahead to college hockey, he sees a realistic, attainable path.

Guidance Helping Him Thrive
Colin credits much of his opportunity and exposure to working with Stephen Heisler, whose support has helped push his career forward.
"Working with Stephan has been amazing, he’s gotten me many opportunities with a whole bunch of teams. If you ever ask him for anything he will do whatever he can to get it done ASAP."
